The M.AR (MERVAL ARGENTINA INDEX), a price-weighted index, is a theoretical porfolio of stocks designed to reflect the performance of Argentine listed companies. The portfolio is rebalanced after the close of the last trading session in March, June, September, and December. The index was developed with a base value of 550.47 as of December 30, 1999.
