The Budapest Stock Exchange Index is a capitalization-weighted index adjusted for free float. The index tracks the daily price only performance of large, actively traded shares on the Budapest Stock Exchange. The shares account for 58% of the domestic equity market capitalization. The index has a base value of 1000 points as of January 2, 1991 and is a Total Return index.
