ASTA Funding, Inc. purchases, sells, and services performing and non-performing consumer receivables. These consumer receivables are the unpaid debts of individuals to credit grantors, including banks, finance companies, and other service providers. Most of the Company's receivables are VISA and MasterCard accounts that issuing banks have charged off their books for non-payment.
