For most people, holiday decorating means untangling a few strands of Christmas lights, firing up the menorah, and dusting off ancient ornaments and special dishes that somehow manage to survive decades. For other celebrants, it's not like that at all. They spend in excess of $50,000 on holiday decor every year, according to Brandon Stephens, president of Christmas Decor in Lubbock, Texas, keeping designers and landscapers busy assembling everything from "Christmas forests" to giant dreidels.
