The Olympic flame has been lit during a ceremony amongst the ruins of the Temple of Hera, at Olympia, Greece.
High Priestess Ino Menegaki lit the flame using a parabolic mirror to capture the suns light, before being taken to the site of the stadium where the ancient Games were held.
The flame will arrive the U.K. on May 18 for a 70-day cross-country relay.
