Netherlands Supports Financial Transaction Tax, Rutte Says

The Netherlands supports a financial transaction tax.

“The cabinet supports such a tax,” Prime Minister Mark Rutte said in parliament in The Hague today. “But we aren’t supporters of an introduction in only a few countries because the effects could then be enormous,” he also said.
