Hall of Fame Slugger Killebrew Dies of Cancer at 74 After Entering Hospice

Harmon Killebrew, a Hall of Fame player for the Minnesota Twins franchise, died today after battling cancer, the National Baseball Hall of Fame said. He was 74.

Killebrew said in December he had been diagnosed with cancer of the throat and announced last week that he was entering hospice care.
